Spike Gram, Gerontologist (What is a Gerontologist?), has over 15 years experience with the support network for older adults in Western North Carolina. She has a Master's Degree in Gerontology from Appalachian State University in Boone, Western North Carolina.  Her experience in care management begins in 1996 when she served as the Service Coordinator/Case Manager for the Housing Authority of the City of Asheville.  Ms. Gram founded Elder Care Options LLC in 2001 and Senior Care Consulting LLC in 2003.  She has served on a number of boards and committees within the aging network in Buncombe County, North Carolina, including Meals on Wheels, Area Agency on Aging, Alzheimer's Association, Buncombe County Community Advisory Committee, Council on Aging, and Aging Coordinating Consortium.  

Ms. Gram lives in Madison County and travels extensively throughout Western North Carolina as her service area includes Buncombe, Madison, Henderson, Transylvania, and Haywood Counties.
